Made up largely of St. Mary School parents, the Advisory Commission is the direction-setting body of our school. While authority rests ultimately with the Principal and Pastor, the Advisory Commission provides review and advice on policy and financial matters.
Much like a school board, we work with the Pastor and Principal in formulating policies, and on long range planning for the school.
Each year the Advisory Commission helps prepare, review and approve the annual budget, including the tuition schedule and the family fund raising commitment.
Finally, the Advisory Commission serves as a vehicle for addressing parents’ concerns and communicating with the school and parish community.
The Advisory Commission has been engaged in an important process of Strategic Long Range Planning.
